John Bell of the Iona Community says the songs we offer children must ground them for life. This collection of Bible story songs take seriously that premise.

Richard as his partner Trish gathered songs they wrote for Sunday school curriculum over several years into this CD. With the music, they also created a book of simple devotions and activities for grade-school aged people of faith and their families.

Some have called this a post-modern, emergent project: a smart, curious and spiritual to experience these Bible stories of the Biblical tradition.
